Cryotherapy at Carrick Medical Centre

Cryotherapy is the local use of low temperature liquid (liquid nitrogen) in a medical setting. Cryotherapy is used to treat a variety of benign and sometmes malignant tissue damage, medically called lesions. The term "cryotherapy" comes from the Greek cryo (κρύο) meaning cold, and therapy (θεραπεία) meaning cure

At Carick Medical Centre we use the Cryopro 500 device to deliver accurate and speedy cryotherpy.
